Hi.
I’m Gere (rhymes
with ‘cherry’).
I write books.
It turns out writing a novel (or two) is the easy part. Configuring reality so people actually can pull one off a shelf and read it is the real trick. First, you have to find an agent, who will then try to convince a publisher to buy the novel. (Money, yay!) Then you go through all of the business of turning a manuscript into a book, which is more complicated than it sounds. And while that’s happening, you’re supposed to be promoting the novel any way you can so that people will want to read it … which is why you’re looking at this website. Welcome!
