Welcome to my blog!

I have dedicated my life to the craft of writing, primarily as an award-winning newspaper journalist and columnist. I’ve also written short fiction and had a few stories published in the 1990s — before I became a mom.

It took me more than 20 years to get back to writing fiction. When I finally did, I wrote a 126,000-word novel in less than two months. It was so much fun, I decided to write another. A third is in the works. When I’m not writing or working as a newspaper journalist, I read, make jewelry, walk the dog and do mom stuff.
